Chinese New Year is around the corner and it is usually the only time of the year, I’ll colour my hair. I’ve always wanted to try some “exotic” colours such as pink, purple, blue and rose gold (my favourite colour at the moment) on my hair but because I’m afraid of the end-results might be too wild for a “princess” like me, I killed that thought every time. I end up choosing the darker tones colour which I felt that it’s “safer” and doesn’t requires any bleaching. Last Friday, I went over to De Arte Hair Studio to look for Daris, not having any idea on mind at all, I trusted my hair into his hands. Even during the process, I couldn’t reckon what is the exact colour that Daris had decided for me. It took Daris & his team about 4-5 hours to get my hair done because I have really thick & stubborn hair that isn’t easy to colour, always the last to leave the salon.
I’m really thankful to Daris, Eve & Ally from De Arte for being really creative and helping the “conservative” me to discover the other side of me, that I, myself didn’t know. You guys make me pretty! I really didn’t know I can carry such loud and wild colour quite well, the moment my hair was out, even a member of their team wanted the same colour as mine. After posting on Instagram & Facebook, I’ve also received many compliments on social media and friends asked where I did my hair. It is indeed very important to find a good hairstylist, Thank you all for pampering my hair! HUAT AH!
