During last year December, a friend of mine was sharing with me that buying contact lenses from JB is very cheap, especially also because of the recent hike for its exchange rate of SGD – RM. I have really sensitive eyes so I can’t wear monthly contact lens, I am a user of One-day Acuvue Define for many years. Hence, I asked my friend to help me get 3 boxes & I regretted. My order was placed on 19 Jan 2016 (as seen on the receipt below) but only until 2 days ago (4 April) then I got my hands on my these 3 precious boxes of lens, ABOUT 4 MONTHS for my contact lens to reach me! *blow fire*
Usually, 3 boxes of dailies can last me about 1.5 mths – 2 mths as I’m usually in my spectacles unless I have to an event to attend or weekends.
SO.. WHAT HAPPENED?
Order Placed on 19 Jan 2016 – My friend was told that there was no stock and it will arrived in 2 weeks time, (expected time around 2 Feb 2016)
Due to CNY period, I can understand the jam and etc., my friend didn’t wanted to drive in. (sure, I have absolutely no issue.)
2 March 2016 – The stock was wrong, they got the wrong colour.
11 March 2016 – my friend went down and the lady told her that my lenses hasn’t arrived. So my friend asked for a refund but the boss said it will come the following week, otherwis.. they will do a refund. (WHO THE HELL WILL TRAVEL THERE SO MANY TIMES JUST FOR 3 BOXES OF CONTACT LENSES?)
However, due to my Korea trip I needed my lenses urgently so she helped me to get just a box from another shop. If you’re a contact lens user, you know that getting just 1 box can be quite costly.
So after my trip finally, I can get my lenses from her.
100VISION DID NOT UPDATE CUSTOMERS ON STOCK ON TIMELY BASIS despite of having customer’s mobile number and they DO NOT ALLOW REFUND EVEN WHEN DEMANDED. Of course, I can’t blame my friend who helped me get these lenses because she’s merely doing me a favour. This kind of service will not be tolerated!
I’d learnt my lesson that cheap doesn’t means it’s good. With this kind of service standard I believe JB has another better optical shop available. As a consumers, I am disappointed with the services I have with them.
